As infatuated as I am with the famous Chanel brand, this 100% silk scarf is the only piece of couture I own. Sad, I know! It was a gift to me from my mother. I don't know where the fad started, but I'm really into Middle Eastern fashion right now; I love all of the headwear and drapery. I actually saw a woman dressed in robes today at Wal-Mart and I thought about taking her picture but I figured that would be a.) creepy and b.) disrespectful! My Chanel scarf is so silky that it was extremely difficult to pose for this picture without it slipping off of the back of my head. On Monday (Memorial Day) I used the same scarf to tie a turban over my hair, which I wore to my friend's graduation party. It's the first time I've ever done anything like that so I wasn't really sure how people would react, but I actually received an overwhelming amount of compliments on it. The tutorial I found for the turban was on YouTube, and the title was "HOW TO TIE A TURBAN ll TUTORIAL" by Codie Louise. The video is only around three minutes long. It's totally worth watching if anyone is brave enough to try it out. I felt a little self concious about wearing it out in public but I was really glad that I did. (who cares what other people think anyway, I didn't get any negative feedback). Love, Leslie ♡
